Nah, they've been around for ages.. not sure about the massive holes around the needles - I doubt that they hide the edge very well. Also mega expensive :)

I know, I bought one, and have it here :)

But its not EL. That kit in that link is a full EL kit. That one actually glows at night instead of using the standard bulbs :)

But yeah Im gonna stick with my current one, not worth the extra dosh, but its nice to see stuff like this appearing for the stazza :) Although as hcca said, its not really appearing, just kind of been their for ages and I never noticed :S

And yeah I agree hcca, 'dont need to remove the needles to install' - thats got to be one loose dash kit!

You could always add EL to my gauges - just buy a sheet and an inverter and cut it up and stick it to the back of the gauges. It's not the cheapest stuff though. I was looking at adding it for a while, but it would add about $100 to the cost, plus adds a lot of extra complexity and wiring etc. so I decided that at least at this point in time it's not worth it.

Thats even better! :D Well knowing its available anyway, I dont really drive at night anyway, just as long as it looks good during the day :)

I haven't played with it myself, but my understanding is that it just comes as a sheet (like paper) that can be cut up with scissors etc. It has a matrix or something of conductors that you then solder wires onto and then wire it up to the inverter.

The bloke I bought my JD from had a set of EL dials in it for a while (but he pulled em out before I brought it

). You could progressively fade the colour from blue to green with a little switch.
