MR2 engine is mid mounted, Lambo, ferrari is also mid mounted (mostly) Porsche engine is behind the axle line and older ones have a tendency to pendulum when lifting off the gas around a corner. It's a known flaw that has taken 20 years to tame. Also the engine sits very low in the chassis, not up like a sore thumb in this monstrosity.
Say you put a stock Staz motor in, the turbo and top of inlet manifold will stick out the engine cover. Go for a fang, have to stop cos it starts to rain and your lovely hot exhaust housing and manifold cops a drenching, not good. And you have to mount a radiator in there somewhere and get the top tank or overflow bottle higher than the head to stop air lock.
You could put a rotor in it and make something from it, but it will still take a fair bit of moolah.

..... so what your saying is this should balance things out?Alspos wrote:MR2 engine is mid mounted, Lambo, ferrari is also mid mounted (mostly) Porsche engine is behind the axle line and older ones have a tendency to pendulum when lifting off the gas around a corner.
