has anyone found a replacement for the top o ring, the one with the moulding on it, is it necessary? mine are leaking again. are these injectors used in another mitsu car?? like the cordia???

Help!!!!
sorry to bring this up again, I went to the local efi guy got the new rings, and it still leaks fuel, what else can I do? could the injectors themselves be faulty??, it runs ok but it's getting really wet, into the connectors and everything.... anyone??

You can try this , it worked for me. Buy some aviation form-a gasket. It's in a little bottle with a brush. Loctite also sell the same stuff , but under a different name. This stuff is fuel & water resistant , so it's good on water pumps too (it never sets , just stays 'gooey'). Paint the o-rings in this stuff , re-assemble and that should be it. It should help to preserve the o-rings & seals for a longer life too. If you have trouble finding this stuff , let me know.
Just be careful not to get any on the injector nozzle , as this stuff is almost impossible to wash off.

I just got some aerospace fluorosilicone rubber, it cures just like silicone &is fuel resistant too and it'll fill any gap, so I'm using that, trouble is i've got to go back to the shop i got it from, its expiry date was 30-04-04, that's one month, for $80 i was expecting a bit more, the guy said no problem bring it back, i'll give you a newer batch.. :xPowerslave wrote:You can try this , it worked for me.
