Lightweight harmonic balancers

Post by vr4ced »

I'm preparing for an engine rebuild and think I should get a new balancer. Stock ones are about $65. Then I see these:

Are these worth the extra coin, or is it just wank?

They are shit.

If your going to buy one, spend the dollars & grab an; ati/precision/Ross etc.

Thanks for that. I figured it would be as good as it looked - nasty.

Damn those Ross ones are nice but very pricey. :wtf:

Fluidampr ones are a bit cheaper. Do you know if they are any good?

Engine is a DOHC 2.3 Stroker that would be unlikely to see over 8K revs FYI.
