I've had my MPI setup running for about three months now and have finally tried to get my tacho working.
I'm using evo 3 coilpacks, EMS Stinger V3 and am getting the tach feed directly from the ignitor. All the wires have been in place but not connected to the dash.
I have tried to modify the Tach as Prozac suggested recently by jumping a the resistor on the tach module and had no luck :x
Suggested thread can be found here: http://forums.austarion.com/viewtopic.php?t=14013
I then tried the tach mod suggested on Project Zero G including removing the resistor altogether and replacing it with another resistor and diode, but again no result
Can anyone please help me to understand why it's not working for me? I tried putting in a 6.8k pull up resistor but it still doesn't want to work for me
Here's some pics for reference

Nearly forgot the other issue I have is the factory boost gauge doesn't work, this doesn't bother me so much as I have a Auto meter gauge as well. I have considered putting the Auto meter gauge in the factory position but I'm trying to make the car look clean and standard.
I assume the boost gauge receives the siginal from the ECU hence why mine wouldn't work but is There a way I can wire it straight to the sender, or to an aftermarket sender?
Thanks again

New morning brings on a fresh mind, went over all my connections this morning and found my pull up resistor wasn't connected propperly, fixed a solder and it works a charm.
For anyone else who has this issue it is wired straight from the tach output on the ignitor to the starion dash loom. I have done as Zac suggested and jumped the first resistor and added a pull up resistor and it works a charm :pimp
Now just the issue with the MAP sensor. I kept it in the car for the soul reason of powering my stock boost guage but it doesn't work. I bought the car with a blown motor and built the MPI motor so I have no idea if it worked before the swap.
I have wired the red and black wires directly to 12v and the guage moves up on ignition but only between -1 and -0.5 bar and isn't affected by engine vacuume / boost
Thanks again :beer
