I have a magna (TN) that has been set up with a TD04 (Lancer GSR 1.8) turbo, toyota 1G-GZE injectors, a saab intercooler and numerous other bits. I have had it on a dyno down in melbourne and it peaked at 122Hp at the wheels, without the intercooler and running around 7PSI boost. It runs 10PSI at the moment, through the intercooler, and is probably pushing around 130HP at the wheels (Unsubstantiated).
It is currently registered, so I can get it from A to B, but I'll not be selling it with a roadworthy. I'm in Ballarat, Vic.
I am prepared to sell all the bits for the conversion, rather than the whole car, if somebody is interested. This will include magna EFI manifold, injectors, piping (water cooling for turb, air, oil feed+return, etc), turbo (spools well, no smoke), exhaust manifold, magna dizzy, wiring loom, throttle cable + any other bits that may be usefull.
It is currently running a prototype of my home designed EFI system, which I am not able to sell, just because I have not got the time to offer assistance in maintaining it (handwired, proto software).
The TD04 turbo on the magna engine results in an interesting car. It begins boosting at 1600RPM and is on full boost by 2200RPM. The car was doing 100KPH in 7 seconds. It is very punchy, and very little lag. Not optimal for top end power, great for blasting around town and also for autocross events.
I want $1000 for the turbo kit, the car comes for free..
