Starion rear shocks...

Post by Lummy »

I've had these sitting around for a long time. If they're useful to anyone out there, make me an offer...

I'm in Sale, Vic. Willing to post anywhere.

given that they only have one tab for the brake lines, they look to be the original shocks out of the Galant GSR coupe. Starions have two tabs either side to mount the brake line onto.

Hmmm, ok, I thought they were identical to Starion shocks, but clearly not.

These came off the Galant Lambda (Scorpion import) before it was converted to a dedicated track car.

they are otherwise identical, ie same dimensions and mounting points - just when fitting into a Starion the brackets don't facilitate the mounting of stock Starion brake lines. On the 4th gen IRS Galant/Eternas the brake hard lines are mounted on the crossmember behind the diff rather than on the inner wheel arch in front of the diff on a Starion. No problems fitting Starion struts into the 4th gen though.
