Full 3.5in stainless exhaust to suit Starion?

Post by YSR020 »

Hey guys,

I have a stainless exhaust here, I am told it would suit a Mitsubishi Starion. It's a full 3.5in system with an xforce muffler - so it would definitely be loud.

I'm in Melbourne, happy to meet somewhere and have it trial fitted or measure it etc.

It's of great quality - I just have no use for it.

If anyone is interested shoot me a PM - make an offer

Cheers

Hey guys, had a few PMs - I've decided $495 is a fair price for it, probably that much in materials alone...

It has a couple of scratches on the underside, nothing major. It's only be used for 50kms or so before being removed.

PMs replied to!

Normally a Starion exhaust goes up and over the diff/suspension area.

You will not fit a 3.5" pipe over the halfshaft. Not without floorpan surgery.

I DO NOT want to sell it to someone who cannot fit it to their car. It may need some tweaking but I am confident it should go close to hanging under a Starion. If I am mistaken I am happy to withdraw the sale of course.

This exhaust definitely runs under the diff.

I'd rather a local buyer who can see/measure/test it out - if not I'll sell it so someone who can make some use out of the bends... LOL

Hope that helps somewhat!

^^^^^ More than fair. Cant be fairer than allowing to trial fit before parting with money. :beer

Could be a good pickup for a Melb based guy.

Doesn't necessarily have to, I thought that too Shannon when I originally saw the picture too, but there is one of my cars running it straight across the underside of the floor and then into the cutout on the rear subframe then straight to the rear muffler.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
