My JA

Post by JA83 »

well im really bored so thought i would chuck up some pics of my starion. Brought it for $1800 bucks with rego a while back, and have put king springs all round, rear suspension bushes, front brake hoses, new jb watercooled turbo, new main and big end bearings, sump gasket and rear main, and 14x8 chevoit turbo wheels.

She dosen't go too bad for a old bus, has even 140psi compression on every cylinder.
heres the pics

As a comparison (more for myself) with reference to the lower springs...

the
205/60/14's = 602mm tall

245/40/17's = 636mm tall
225/45/17's = 634mm tall

Doesn't look like it was going anywhere in those photos, looks like it's on a towrope! It's nice and clean looking though, someone has spent some time and coin on it.

is that the turbo you got off me? if so, then that's exactly what my car made with that turbo when stock.. then the tuner unhooked the vac line to the fuel pressure regulator and put a screw in it.. bumped it up to 99rwkw

the cars are rated at 125kw at the fly stock, so thats a good result.. means they lose about 30kw through the driveline..
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.
