spark plugs in twincam
hey everyone , i just wanna ask what spark plugs are people running in there twincams ? heat range ? etc .
bp6es is the stock for a vr4 engine
i just run bp7es in mine as reccomended by alot of the vr4/evo guys just with he stock .8 gap not the -11 (theres two gaps sizes)
thats for around 300atwhp and 16psi
for a more wild setup they just seem to go to the 8s and gap them down a bit depending on boost
no issues and cheap as chips

i run twin cam engines in two of my cars. unless you live somewhere cold, i ever have had issues with running bp7 plugs.
i had a guy one day tell me to try the v spark ones that NGK do, he recons they are better and ran them in his taxis for years.
so i got a set of bp7e plugs (not always easy) and yeah, they just seem very nice and smooth all the time. weird.
anyway, ngk website has brilliant info on plugs and the tech in them if you even wana learn about them.

Is it wise to receive counsel from random taxi drivers?mrcyborg wrote: i had a guy one day tell me to try the v spark ones that NGK do, he recons they are better and ran them in his taxis for years.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?

probably not no, but in this case, the difference in my plugs were only that v groove in the end of it so out of curiousity i though f it, why not. i was really a little suprised i did feel the difference.
