Good Story, yep it still happens...

Post by TD05 »

The other day I was at work and one of my mates comes over & tells me there's a man at the front wants to talk to me, so I go, thinking it's gotta be bad news, (what else). I see this guy in blue, his opening line is: do you drive the mitsubishi starion, still confused I say, yes, and he says, I used to own one about six months ago, I'm thinking he just wants to talk and reminisce, and then he says I bought one for my son, and had a spare one as well, we sold them but, wait....... we have heaps of spares and knowing how hard it is to get bit s for them I tought you might want them, I couldn't believe my ears, so I said how much do you want, ahh , a carton of Carlton Cold would do... so a couple of days later I was driving home with a car full of bits. I guess that was pretty lucky, I'll be keeping the car a bit longer now as I've been thinking of selling it.

You never know what's gonna happen......
I'm still smiling..

there's a drive shaft piece. a radiator complete with fans, AC compressor, set of brake calipers, dash, inlet manifold, AfM (i needed this so badly) starter motor, dissy (heaven sent), some EFI bits, sensors. disc rotors.. mostly stuff i was needing, not bad.. this is the first time anything like this happened to me, surreal.. :o
