need some help

[paradox]

pictures are of trouble codes and where to access the unit for finding the information, problem is i only have 9 connects from the unit when the papers show 12. need to know if i have the right unit or not and what the one is in the picture. it is located on the right side of the glove box on the lower side of the dash.
