Steering box compatability?

Post by Lummy »

Just wondering if the Starion steering boxes (power and manual) will fit a Scorpion?

should do, but you'll need the matching steering column. Non power steering has a longer column to suit the shorter steering box.

The boxes will fit, the same 3 mounting holes line up perfectly but as dirty Galant said, you will need the longer internal steering column

Excellent, thanks guys.

Now, does anyone have a manual steering box with steering column up for grabs?

Is there any other model steering boxes (manual in my case) that will suit the starion/scorpion/sigma/galant? It's becoming increasingly difficult to find one that hasn't had the adjustment screwed right down and is now loose as a $2 hooker.
