WTB - VR4 Timing belt cover and plate

Post by WANTSOM »

This is a bit left of centre but does anyone have the plastic timing belt cover (lower half only) and the metal plate that sits behind the idler pulley off a VR4. [New ex Mitsi is super expensive and ex wrecker Hyundai is a PITA to remove all the front clip to get to the part when working in 2 inches of finger room).

If anyone has one lying around from an old project or whatever it would be for a goood cause, happy to pay a reasonable fee.

Tks
Greg

I tried to find a second hand one of these for my starion. But gave up and bought a new one. Apparently the cambelts chew them out a lot.

90% of the ones i have had anything to do with have been chewed out in one way or the other. The other 10% are on my three twincams

Are you still looking for the plastic cambelt cover? Found one in my garage. Its a little chewed out near the oil pump drive, but very usable. Oh and its gray not black. I got it off a twin cam non turbo 4g63.
Or I can get you a brand new one for $200NZD plus shipping.
