What's a VR4 block worth?

Post by Lummy »

And how hard are they to find?

Are there many differences in blocks between 4G63's? Or are they all the same?

VR-4 block has interconnecting main bearing caps while SOHC has seperate main bearing caps. Evo1+ block is 7 bolt crank and has seperate thrust washers as opposed to VR-4 and earlier with thrust washers built into the center main bearing, so the block is machined differently to suit.

A N/A DOHC block is the same except it wont have oil squirters, but you can drill and tap them so they can be retrofitted.
