cool it worked !! .

this thing was a 3 year project , rebiult narrow block , supra 5 speed , haltech ecu , a few bolt on goodies , jb lsd , reco suspension lowered etc etc . the car is on a run in tune currently and will be tuned again in the next week or two .

heres a few more that were taken at the start when it all seemed so far away . at this stage i was going to run starion block and box with 16v head but changed plans half way threw , firewall clearance was made and water pipe rigged up at this stage also

i noticed projectzeroG in the states has a rwd w58 bellhousing out on ebay at the moment , doesnt look a bad thing , im running a w57 box , more common and exact box only diffrence is 5th gear between the 2 .

W55 to W59 all run the same bellhousing. AFAIK they are all interchangeable apart from some shifter differences (which unbolts anyway).

yes many shifting positons as i figured out along the way lol , i went with one of the extended ones which brought it up striaght in the middle of the hole .

ill have to take some pics of my gearbox x member , i used a ra23 celica w50? one which was an easy fit and looks way better then some box steel job .
