How many Starions are left still running ?

Post by panda »

I know that there were about 1300 Starions imported into Australia during the 80's, but does anyone know approximately just how many of these are still running in Australia, or in a fit state that could be made to go.

Maybe the same question could apply to New Zealand, how many were imported, & how many remain.

Was that a guess, an estimation or just a nice sounding number?
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...

you can look here for a ball park figure of people on the forum:

plus my 1 I haven't added to it. There are a heap more that are running but aren't listed on this site. A yellow one in particular I see every weekend, but he doesn't seem to want to come on this site.

Has all the info in the Starion Registry been entered into a spreadsheet that can be downloaded by Forum Members ?

At a guess, I think there's still about 30 - 40 still running in SA, but thats only a guess. I've found 5 still running just around Mount Gambier, with a population of only 25,000.
