Im looking for new speakers, are the rear ones 6and a half inch or 4?

From memory they are 6 or 6.5".
But the only thing is that the area's not boxed so they will sound like poohs.....
That's the only reason I never had speakers in the back of her.

I put a set of pioneer 6.5" speakers in there, but from memory they are 6. Oh and they don't sound like crap, speakers don't need to be box'd, only subs do.

I thought I put something up about this earlier....
5 1/4" rear speakers apparently.
And this is what I was saying about how they will crap out since they are not boxed and not to bother....

I think the reason the rear speakers sound so bad is to do with how thin the mounting area is. If you put a layer of sound deadening it will reduce the vibration.

Yeah, they are not 6", they are smaller....4 1/2" from memory. The mounting is into a steel cage thing....I think they sound bad due to 25 year old paper cone technology LOL

yeah I did fit 6" speakers in mine fine. Plus, the cones weren't attached anymore in my standard ones. rofl

i got some 5 and 1/4 to put in, ill use dyna mat to cut vibration
