check these suckers out. watanabe/minilite/superlite style wheels in 15's 16's 17's. the +4's will fit our cars. the 8's MAY need rolled guards if you run humungo tyres on it....

At +4 offset, these are ideal, but you may get a bit of rubbing...

look at the hub mating surface of both those rims, then you'll see why.

hmm.. would that mean the 16s are weaker? or it wouldn't matter?

No the hub mating surface is thicker on the 15s to give it the low offset, the same way a spacer works except they are fixed to the rims in this case.

as i said, only if you ran way oversize tyres on it. normal fitment would not be a problem at all.

Purely as a point of reference; I ran 17's on my GSR-V with a +3 offset, and 7.5" of width with 235/47/17 tyres on them, and there was plenty of rubbing.
My guards had to be rolled.
Wheels were 5 stud of course, but I'd imagine that detail makes no difference.

yeah 235 is a big tyre for a 7.5. i ran 245/40/17 on my JB with 9 inch wide zero offset wheels front and +20 rear, no scrubbing. had a little neg camber on front though. where were yours scrubbing?

yeah 235s are balloons on 7.5" rims - 205 or 215 in 40 or 45 profile would look hot on 7.5s I reckon.

I've got 17x 8's now on the GSR-V with the same tyres - Dunlop 235/45/17's
There was rubbing on the leading edge of the wheel arch, (towards the front), and on top edge of the wheel arch. It's sorted now, but it's something to be conscious of when considering wheels and tyres.
I went for the 235/45/17's because they were VERY cheap.
