turbo piping - help!

Post by logik »

hey all,

just wondering if anyone has a diagram of all the piping involved with the tc06 on a starion. ive just noticed on my wastegate, there are two possible
places for putting a pipe, and only one pipe so im a bit stuck. want to go over my whole piping setup so if anyone has a diagram (not off the us
conquest, already tried :P) of the standard setup... speak up!

james.

We all apologise for not sacrificing our time at no cost to you which has not enabled you to see your girlfriend.

What a heartless bunch we are.

piping involved for tc06: theres a crossover pipe for the outlet, exhaust pipe on the compressor and wastegate, and the pipe from the airbox to inlet on the turbo.

after reading ur question a couple of times i think your asking where the hose from the manifold goes to on the wastegate actuator.? i think the curved one on the end. If not, you will just keep boosting, so really you coulda gone to ya womans house to get spanked if u put it on the wrong one, but you'ld just have to watch ya throttle! now go put the hose on and give one to ya missus for us

WELL the reason im asking all this is now irrelevant, i thought i might have had pipes where their not meant to be...

the reason im asking is my turbo is leaking oil from the oil return pipe UNDER the turbo, which is fkn impossible to get to. i cant see under it and
my room mate threw my old tc06 out so i couldnt check it. what type of connection is it, how can it leak?

as for my missus, she doesnt even like starions, bloody n13 pulsar drivers.

hah ;D

well, i have no idea about the oil lines on the turbs :S

would be the same connection as the oil line on the top of the turbo yeh? i can only think of it leaking if it's not tight enough or it may have a crack in it. Or its leaking from the turbs itself?

theres a reason i don't really post in the tech section u know
