as far i know, somebody said that this pump cannont be rebuilded, due to some kind of damage… but i don't have that knowledge

and also i didn't knew that there is possibility to use electric ps pumps

I think one option is from Peugeot/Citroens and I think they come with a built in reservoir.

I thought about this as I guess it could be mounted in the space in front of the radiator which would free up some of the space around the Turbo. I know they require quite a hefty current feed.

If this model Opel Astra is common where you're located, you may have a cheap source for hydro-electric power steer pumps :)

I'm considering using one of these :)

They are a bitch to get to when at the wreckers though, unless the motor of the car is already out
