Was it only the JB that came with the TURBO door handles, and i believe my jb has a 6 speaker stereo as well.

Turbo doorhandles were JB only in Australia , and JB GSR only in Japan . In the UK they were a little more widely used , but still only JB series .

All Starion bodyshells have the spots for the extra speakers , extra speakers were an available option for JD in Aust , not sure about JB but I think so . Would be rare anyway .

where were extra speakers in JD Starions?

i got the 2 dash ones like in JA, 2 hatch ones and 2 in the front doors.

It was an option so not all had them .

If you remove the upholstery panel on either side of where the rear passengers sit you'll see the recess , hole and screw holes in the body shell . So that actually makes 8 speaker positions

ok ive seen those holes in JA as well. My JD owners manual doesnt mention 8 speaker setup though

My JD came stock with the turbo doorhandles.. It was originally one of the two-tone maroon/gold ones.
