I saw an immaculate silver JDM GSR VR idebody tonight at WSID. Guy claims to have paid $35K to import it and register here. I had a good laugh. Ran a 13.7@103MPH with an exhaust, a TD06-20G and 18 PSI, but stock ECI and ECU.

Is that the one Lxs pulled over and spoke with some time ago ?

I think $35K is what he has spent in total incl the car itself, especially if he got a workshop to do most of the work and parts at rrp

Yes, same car. No, he said it cost him 32K outright and 35K registered. He must be either highly gullible, or spinning it. Nice guy though. Nice numbers for mild mods. Needs MPI and an a/m ECU and should get alot more power.

Here's one that's been sold, but I'm sure you could probably see if they can get another one through:

They deal in 'nostalgic' cars mainly.

That one is 800,000 yen, which is what R32 GTR's go for. $10K plus costs will see it landed and registered for $18K. Looks very clean with low kms.

Most of the stuff that they sell is pretty expensive unfortunately. Some nice old skool stuff on there quite regularly.

Where were you on sunday? We had a meet, but I didn't see you there! Not that I'd know what you or your car looks like... :P
