Russ, Oldie and I finally got around to have a look - He wants your turbo.....it'll be good to see it going when u get the rear end sorted out. Hope the welds are strong enough for dorifto.

The photos don't do the carbon look rocker cover justice.

I think he meant that the 300 brakes bolt onto the s13 hubs, there is a bit of work to make the s13 coil overs fit into the staz. But it is do-able.

digging up an old thread here.. but just wondering if anyone knows whether the S13 coilovers were worth fitting? I believe Sargeant Khan owns this car now right? How does it handle? Any issues with suspension geometry etc with the S13 coilovers? if not, perhaps it'd be cheaper than trying to get a company to make coilovers specifically for the staz?

Well found thrash, would never have guessed from the thread name about the coilover info. Yes, definitely more info please. Srgnt Khan, can you shed any light on this?

if you use s13 swing arms you can bolt all the brakes and hubs, brakes on that, then mod the caster rods as well as steering arms. all so simple! LOL

Khan is running stock rear suspension as the s13 coilovers on the rears bent. Whether this was because it didnt suit or was installed like that we dont know.

Yeah sorry, Cant really help. The front suspension is also stuffed and will need to be replaced so I cant really comment. Driving home from a day at the dirt sprints the collar came off the top of the strut housing...
The fronts dont seem to have been bent though. The engineer gave me a hard time about the mod (cost extra...). Definately a mod I'd do on a car after its been registered. Lengthened the control arms to suit, that was the problem but they seem sturdy enough. Still i'd prefer custom coilovers to suit the starion and also suit nissan brakes. Upgrading your front and rear sway bars will be the best bang for your buck imho. Struggling to fit my front hd sway bar because it hits the oil filter mount :(
It will be back on the road tomorrow then going to get a wheel alignment.
