Shit that is cheap. And I know there is no chance in hell of a bolt on alternative. But you can't stop a guy from dreaming. I would love a better steering system.

I might take you up on that offer soon for my steering dave.

repco sell the steering rack kit to fit a staz, $19.95 for the basic one or $24.95 for one with a sports wheel........... serious........ look it up.....
I figured out the meaning of life, and since then every day just gets worse.

I've heard that the sigma steering column can be used to changed to a get a non-power assist. If this is the case then the sigma power steering might also be able to be used.

And if any one has some measurements of the bolt up locations and distances i could compare it to a sigma one i have here. You might be able to use it because the draglink for the sigma have all rubbers on the pitman and idler arms over. Just a thought.

The part you want is actually not from a Starion but a Hyundai Excel! The Starion one is exactly the same but twice the price! Part numbers are in the pic!

If you can't locate a handbrake cable, Scorpion or sigma cables will fit the starion, but you need to remove the hanger bracket and replace with the starion one.

I've replaced both already, and they work fine.
