R31 skyline rims will bolt on but the offset is wrong, they have a 120mm back space, you need a 110 mm back space

Barney - Huh? What do you mean by backspace?

R31's have the same stud pattern, and if somebody is offering aftermarket wheels they will normally mention the offset. +20 +/- 5mm. These should be OK but 225 tyres probably won't fit on the front if the offset is +25.

Also some old toyotas (RWD) have the same stud pattern. Same deal, check offset when wheels are for sale. This just gives you more places to look for rims. Or somebody may offer multifit rims with all the right numbers.

Ahhhhh gotcha.
Are you talking standard ones like Silhouette/TI etc?
Might be an excercise next time the Mother-in-law comes around. She has a TI.

Simmons FR18, 18x9 235/40 and 18x10 285/30

I'm going to run with FR19s on my purple V6 JA, 19x9.5 255/35 and 19x11 305/25, most likely with Ford stud pattern as I'm doing huge custom brakes etc and the FR19 is not available in stud.

do the US starion mags fit the A-spec starions? just wondering as i have been told the stud pattern or something is slightly differnt between starion models by the mag guy at bob jane.

also if they do fit, how easy is it to get a set of them in adelaide? do they need to be importer from OS or interstate?

search for a topic by Oscar-the-Grouch in the buy/sell section

The hubs are totally different - 5 stud compared to our 4 stud. You'll need to do a conversion. Shipping prices for all the parts etc.. are all in oscars post

US have two specs, 5 and 4 stud although most are 5 stud. Same pattern as Ford's I beleive. So importing say widebody 7's and 8's would also require replacing hubs with US ones. IMHO it would be easier to source 4 stud rims here.
