Overall it's a pretty good problem to have, getting to choose a brand new ute. :)

Certainly for the money you may as well do your research and pick the best.

If you find that you particularly like one ute but it is underpowered I would look at a chip and exhaust system. Nowadays Roo Systems have packages that don't advoid the new car warranty and give up to 25% more power and torque.

Certainly we all know Toyotas retain their value very well however I feel the new Hilux is very average on the interior.

I think those Ranger's look the goods however 4wd action loves the Izuzu - who made all those Rodeo's you still see driving around with 500,000km on the clock.
