Mates rates hey... Well i am looking at setting up our engine dyno for a 4g, as i have a spare lancer gsr loom lying around, and i can put a plug and play adaptor on it for my haltechs. I will play around with it when i reduce my number of hours working (doing 15hr days now :( ) Definately putting my twincam in there for some numbers.

Bit of a update. Engine is out. Motor was the original narrow block with a set of starion pistons thrown in and boosted. It was just starting to spin a bearing and the blowbye was due to a broken ringland on the 4th piston.

I took the 2.4 head off my other motor and have ported it. For the record imo a 2.4 head is not really much if any of a improvement over a starion head in stock form. There is a massive step in the exhaust ports that needs to be taken out in order for it to take advantage of the bigger valves and ports.

I have ordered a set of 40" over forged pistons, arp rod bolts, a cometic headgasket and deleted the shafts. It's been a hard slog doing this in my 30 min lunch break each day, but it should be back together this week and in the car the week after.

I will run it in on the tune it has now, and then fit my evo injectors and get it tuned for 20psi. I will take some pics, but have no idea when i can post them now i work so many hours :glare:

I wonder whether Redzone will agree with you about that. Dunno whether he slapped a standard head on the orange car or whether he ported it.

Very nice ride that's going to be. What a sleeper! Just hope you can get the thing off the line!
