That red flatty looks very nice and similar to Mals GSR-V.
interesting rear wing too
yes. the splines on the rear spindles are the same as long as you dont get the 6 bolt type spindles, you just use the early (ie aussie) 4 bolt flange on the new USA 86/87 widey rear spindles and it all bolts together..

i reckon mal should buy these works for the GSR-V, they're spot on and a suitable colour!!!!
I agree, they are nice wheels and would suit colour & size wise perfectly, but overall not the look I'm after! Freshened up widey wheels is what I decided on.

I am still not sure whether the axles on early starions suit the later widey spindles as the holes do not exactly match up. A little drilling to match is required I think.
But Yes, the splines do match up!! I think 'Jas' can shed more light on this....

Yeah, I got a 6 bolt LSD and can only use it on a widey, hence I wouldn't mind 6 bolt spindle/hub and axles.

the only part that doesnt fit from the 86/87 widey rear spindles is the 4 bolt flange which you chuck in the bin as yes the bolt pattern is slightly different, and use the aussie/early type 4 bolt flange that matches your half shafts..

which is what i posted on the previous page, i have done this a few times now...

i dont have any 6 bolt stuff spare anymore as i sold it a while back.. 6 bolt stuff you dont need spare of as it's indestructible!

I get it now with the way it's applied to the aussie axles!!

The 6 bolt hubs and axles are wanted just in case I want to throw on the GSR-V or any other 4 stud staz!! :beer

if it's complete, assembled and known to be quiet and the lsd's good you've gotta get $1000 for it...
