yeah as above, I'm using an Evo3 head but am wanting to use an Evo 6.5 TME turbo.

Yeah the way you did it with the thermo is the best and shortest way, but I dislike the welding of the head.

Did you do anything to ensure the coolant flows correctly in the head? There was some talk that running the coolant out the front like you have can lead to hot spots at the rear of the head (ie coolant taking path of least resistance).

Yes... I blocked the flow at the front of the Head gasket.... by using a cometic EVO gasket.... no water hole at front of gasket so no water flow up to head. :beer

Could you outline what you did? Is it still routed to the back of the head? More pics would make it clearer.
