the most important thing would be your computer , so think about this very wisely ...
who is going to tune it and what options it has to offer , some have boost controllers built in , so no need for one ...
think of this as the brains of your car..
ask around and you will get varied opinions on this topic , which ever way you go it would depend on price and what you want ...
every engine and tune is not the same , so if you copy another set up , do not just get a map from them and run it , it wont be the same ...
microtech are cheap and alot of people can tune them , multi coil set ups are also cheap with them opposed to some other makes ....
my choice motec , but a bit pricey , but this would be the ultimate ecu .
the main reason i bought my car was due to this ecu ,
but that is my opinion ..

there is a mech in rocky who says he can mod the stocko dizzy to be a dual pulse crank angle sensor for $80 !!!
just have to work out the best ( read: best that fits my budget ) way to do the ignition side. it was suggested i use a 0227100211 bosch ignition module but at $335.95 new and no idea what car they are from to go wrecker hunting it doesn't fit the budget, also suggested was using J121 tn-tm ignition modules x 4
coil wise mec 717 coils from xe falcon was mentioned.
what have you guys used??

just use a igniter and coil from a 2.6 magna. easy hookup, powerful spark, ultra reliable.

Dude just use one coil and STD dissy will be good enuf, EF-EL coil is about $60 and use a bosch 4 pin modual $80.
I had this done when i fitted my wolf v4 to my staza. I used STD dissy and STD coil, zip ties on the mechanical advance so it don't change you timing(don't use vacuum advance), holden V8 EFI pump or VL turbo pump(same pump). One thing i didn't have was MPI but now i do and i went all out and have multi coil which dosen't really make much difference.
This is what mine looks like now. I also use a EFI magna throttle cable(not the same one that's in the pic) works better then the one i had on there.
