QLD S.H.P widebody pics
the 'SHP' thing is a US term as that was an option or the 1988-89 versions in the US - adjustable shocks and wider wheels and tyres.
I haven't seen a JDM widey with the 8 and 9" stock wheels, but everyone that I have come across has had the adjustable shocks.

Even with my widey, I don't have the adjustable suspension! They might have been replaced with updated shocks,NXTIME wrote:Every JDM widey that I have seen has had them...so have a good look ;)
but I don't think so... as it looks original.
The SSR wheels on my car were the equivalent of SHP wheels in Japan (7.5 front and 8.5in rear and I also have
5mm spacers on the rear!)
There is a post on the forum covering this.... stating the 8's & 9's were not available in the JDM, due to regulations
and some road tax?? So basically, this was only for the US market.
I now have SHP wheels. :D
Oh, and congratulations and welcome to the black widebody club! :beer

Hey WidebodyWoody, you can see the adjusters by turningWell having a quick look at that, my RIMS aren't SHP. Are yours?
I want to remove the rim to look at mine, which is hard because my key is hard to get to. (Locking nut Key)
your right wheel full RIGHT or vise versa.
I dont have the 8" and 9" wheels, but if you know where I can
get some I`ll give you my 7"/8" set.
Cheers:Phil.

You could buy them off Oscar-the-grouch in the US, but availability and (shipping) cost might be the prohibitive factor.
