TMZ_99, you are biased because 4G63JET is your friend.

Trouble begins with Kim coming on here braggin about his car and his conquests, how he chopped this and chopped that.

It is obvious that most people on this forum do not like him and would be happier if he would not stir up trouble like this.

Do you expect people to ignore everyone who comes on here and pretends to be God's gift?

Im sorry but Kim comes across as an immature person who looks like he has something to prove. He may not actually be like this in real life.. but that is how he is portraying himself on this forum. The sooner he realises this the better.

Did Imention immature and bad language ? It is a pity he is such an angry young person. I bet when he is not on the forum he really would be good kid. Such a pity that he hates me so much when he does not even know me. Anyway lets hope that was his last post.

Congrats Kath....I saw this starion once and was taken by how straight it was and how it was obvious the owner really looked after it. You have yourself a little gem there.

Chef told me it was Darrells (forgive the name spelling if its incorrect) and that he now has a westfield. I really like those to, have been thinking for sometime that i would like to build a PRB one day. 580kg with 200 hp and sitting inches from the ground sounds appealing. I couldnt part with the staz though. I would have to have both.

Would be keen to visit and check out the wesfield mate. Keen to have another good look at yours Kath

Hey Guys,

People should knock people for owning a car that person likes, I like a starions respect that. I don't go off slinging that every guy and his dog has a 180sx. no i respect your choices too.

4G63JET : You need only one thing, its called Tact.
People say to turn the other cheek or ignore the person but this forum is but another home which houses other enthusiasts like us and we want to protect it and them with everything we have.

My car hasn't got a world of power, but I challange your 180sx to a lap of Mt Pan and we will see who wins.

BTW... I would have smoked that silvia if i had the 3.9" LSD installed
the starion has emu legs when it comes to acceleration.

Yes , the Starion has an appeal that is hard to find in a more modern car. For one thing , it's a TRUE sports car (ie. fun car!) , that excludes many cars such as GTR's , 3000gt's (any thing 4wd is technically NOT classed as a sports car). Also , the starion was sold as a bare bones car that could be raced at a club on weekends , and be competitive against even some of the more exotic european sports cars (Porsche 944 , turbo alfa's etc etc etc). That feeling is conveyed while driving a starion hard (as many starion owners here can back up , im sure) , they are predictable (if you're sensible about it) , and imo , have more feedback to the driver than it's modern counterparts. To me , 180sx's are a great car , but not what you'd call a 'race ready' car. It's promoted more of a suburban cruiser.
The starion still offers the potential to to face up to the modern jap cars with the modernization of it's top end and fuel/engine management systems. And as for turning heads , I have many people stop & ask me what it is , and about 50% have heard of them or their REPUTATION. (Another thing the 180sx does not have !) , the other 50% say "gee, it looks nice !".

This car was (and in many ways still is) a slap in the face to many car designers around the world , and was kept top secret until shortly before it's release. It paved the way for what many people regard as one of 'the' supercars on the planet today, the Mitsu EVO 7.

That's the difference between someone who wants to go faster and faster , and an enthusiast.

That's my 5.5 cents (inc G.S.T.)
:D

I'll second that. When i was towing my JA from Sydney to Newcastle i stopped in a the twin servos for a drink and so on. I had a few people come up to me asking what sort of car it was, and had replies such as "They raced them at Bathurst didn't they?".

Lapping the main drag here i had people yelling out "What kind of car is that man!?" and then a big thumbs up... Its all very well the know youve built a car you truely love, but having other people love it to is a bonus! :) Thats i have to admit.

Had a couple of older cops look up whilst booking some poor sod-- one stood scratching his head-- the other one smiled and gave a little nod of the head, had me worried untill i caught on.
