We've just used it on a 30`000$ engine of a Lacia integrale at work, produced a safe 445hp (crank).
The ECU works VERY well, easy install, good price and fantastic support.
The company is in Netherlands..
Compared to different standalone ECU`s, this one proved that the self learning lambda control worked spot on!!!

Have ordered the KMS ecu from a local company a week ago :D
It has got alot of happy customers in norway and many has used it and can give me support :)
if you have the money and the time got to DOHC for sure but if you dont just go with SOHC u can still get alot of power out of a SOHC look at redzones orange starion and other starions on the forums u can crack 200rwkw without too much of a struggle.
Still!! Just a quick question, the water in the doch head flow a diffrent way then the soch right ? how can u use doch head gasket with a soch engine how will the water get around when the holes aren`t located in the right end off the engine ?
Sorry if this has been answered before
Think im a bit slow still can`t get what u do with the water flowing around in the engine when it all flows the wrong way in a DOCH head anybody got MSN that could spare a minute to explaine it to me ? someone that have done the conversion ?

stick the whole DOHC engine in and you dont have to worry about it!
a couple of questions Ash about your convertion how thick is the plate you used and did you have any trouble with the front shaft being long enough to go into the spiget bearing
I had thought ether doing a plate or cutting and welding a bellhousing to move the starter motor inward so a smaller dia flywheel could be used

Plate is 10mm thick.
Yes I had to modify the spiggot brg. I found a bearing the same size except its longer. I managed to press it in the flywheel but because its longer is stuck out further therefore the input shaft could reach it!
I am sure there are other options but this one worked for me.
i had unlimited budget for my set up i chose a sohc set up to keep the starion alive if i wanted a twin can i would of brought a brand new evo but i like the starion for what it is i could spend another $10,000-$15,000 and get another 60-100 horsepower and could get 400hp at the wheels but there's over 80kg of sterio equipment i have to remove.
the moral of this story i bought a starion because i wanted a starion not a evo :D

Im kinda in same boat. Single Cam 63 is the heart of the Starion..
I could have bought half an evo with my engine budget. But instead chose a 20year old motor.
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.
I am different again. I bought a widebody because I wanted some thing different and beautiful (not that a narrowbody isn't). It has no motor or box so why not make it look good, bring in some new technology and horsepower at the same time with potential for more in the future. Also when the time comes to sell it will help that it is twin rather than single cam.
