(Re)colouring Plastic/Vinyl Trims & Carpet
you didn't dye your carpet you painted them the carpet is polypropylene made from the same stuff shopping bags are made of this product is non absorbant so it is painted not dyed it can rub off over time hope i have helped :Dchunkhead wrote:I dyed my doors, and the carpet attached at the bottom on the 20th of December 2004. I normally just wipe the doors down with a wet cloth and then use some leather cleaner\protector to buff it up, I haven't done that in quite a while...
I'm going to go out on a limb here... I reckon mine look perfect. Because it's a dye, you can't scratch them, chip them etc. They look and feel like they came from the factory like that! I love my doors! :pimp
