yeah that got pretty tiring after the first 200km, as i didnt realise the cd stacker required the cd's be put in upside down LOL

so who owns the other white one anthony??

yes got home to buderim at 11.35 last nite, big thanx to my sponsors red bull and V energy drinks haha. cant believe the economy it got, that overdrive auto was pulling only 2000rpm at 100kph!

612km out of only 52 litres! it had a quarter of a tank to go!!!!

i will be starting a "how to kill the bing bong at 105" thread soon..

and yes i have big plans for this car :D

All the best with the car Dave :) What did you think of the auto? ;)

As for widey's in Australia, (as far as I know) there are at least three more up in Qld. NSW has a similar number (9 or 10); SA has 2; Victoria has at least 2; and Perth has 2.
Please register your vehicle details on the AUSTRALIAN STARION REGISTRY <HERE>

ahh yes steve's old one silly me haha.

yeah auto is better than i though charlie, though i can see why u were so in love with it with the sydney traffic/roads! not so much of an issue here though.

brendan, i'm eventually going 4G63 twin cam, have a VR4 motor here to take the head from, will use a starion 4G63 bottom end, and a GT3076R that will be going in with the RX7 gearbox (prob do gearbox first though). have other priorities first though, gotta get the gem done for JAMBOREE!

Sounds like there will be two widebodies in QLD with the same mechanical set up. At least they will be different colours!

The others are obviously not on this board, but I've never heard or seen of any others - no other Qlders have even mentioned seeing others

I have been talking with Simmons in sydney and will let you guys know later this year about a group buy . I am thinking OEM's in 18x9 front and 18x10 rear. retail price is about $3000 so hope to buy for about $2500 or less. The tyres I am looking at are Bridgestone re55 in a 285/30/18 for the rears at $510 a pop!
