Hey, guys...been a while..(56K - not a good idear)
Good news!
The Poofta (god, that cracks me up) got the car up and running. Plus, we made a few upgrades along the way.
Now, I didn't do the Magna MPI. I figured I had best break the engine in well before screwing about with all of that, so that's what's happening now. Got 1200 miles on it now. Still haven't floored it yet, but I'm dying to. Another 400 or so miles, and another oil change, and we'll get it....
Check it out.
I converted over to the hard-to-do Conquest Technica digital dash.....seems to fit the car better. Plus, I kinda like the Knight Rider look.
How've you guys been making it?
Tim

They used the dash from '85 to '87.....Stateside, anyway. I can't speak for the UK, though.
Mine has a button that toggles it from MPH to KMH. Also, when the fuellevel gets low, you can hit another button, and accurately read the fuel level down to 1/6 of a tank.
Pretty cool.
