hey everyone, i just started browsing these boards, i must say im learning alot more about these cars than i did. i usually just browse the american forums. mainly starquestclub.com. im on my 4th starion so far! and hopefully i can contribute to the forums. maybe if u guys need some US spec parts i might be able to source some.

i AM looking for some later model widebody taillights. with the amber in them.

by the way i notice u guys mention "JA" or "JD" style starions, what is the difference? we dont use those terms in the states.

G/DAY LEWIE & welcome 2 Austarion JA's were the first model sold here &had the hood vents JB's had no hood vents & an improved tb injection system & were the last of the leaded motors app 250 sold (i have 1 )JD's had unleaded motors less power ,3.9 diff different front spoiler & the same 3 piece rear spoiler as you & only app 50 sold

Only narrow bodies sold down under by mitsubishi. I believe tha Widies were and are all low volume/personal imports.

diffs a big deal? i just tossed one a few months ago. i wish i knew they were rare. i couldnt even give mine away.

We're a bit short on LSDs here, black interior, front bars with foggies in them, elec mirrors etc. But we have PLENTY of vented (aka 83) hoods!

oooooo, i never thought of that. those 16x9 wheels must be super rare over there. right now theres a guy over here workin on full coilovers, they have a fully threaded shock body. he already has the prototype made and it looks good.

what else is rare over there? how much would my 88 widie be worth down under? its white with black leather. i had it painted white. and i removed the rear spoiler. looks sick.

3 piece rear spoilers, particularly with rear ariels, are also very hard to come by here.
