Eastern Creek drive day 10th April (Easter)
Hi everybody there is a public drive (fang) day on at Eastern Creek on the 10th of April. You don't need a CAM's licence (although it's cheaper if you do) the cost is $110.00.
These "public" drive days are not very common so if you want to do some laps of Eastern Creek in anger it's a good opportunity.
I will be there if I can get my turbo rebuilt, king springs purchased and installed, Whiteline sway bars that have been waiting in garage for 6 years installed, Koni rear shocks send to Melbourne to be rebuilt and then installed, limited slip diff on floor of garage for 6 months installed, take the backing plates off the brakes, get M44 pads???............hmmm I don't think I can make it :(

Be advised it's BLOODY fast around there. A quick Starion will hit 220kph down the straight then you have to get through turn1 :P It's a magic flowing circuit around the back.
cheers.

It's part of our licensing system down here.
You start on "L" (learner) plates which have a speed limit of 80kph, and you must have a fully licensed driver with you.
Next is your red "P" (provisional) with a speed limit of 90kph and you don't need another licensed driver.
You then go onto a green "P" which increases the speed limit to 100kph before you go onto your full license.

Hey Mark,
Do you need a hand with doing some of that stuff. I definitely wont be ready by then (hmmm Maries car is in the driveway..... )
I can give you a hand if you need some extra spannering done. Can help with the diff, springs, etc. You need an extra pair of hands for all that stuff, dont do it on your own if you can help it.
Let me know dude.
Cheers

Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.
