Turbo only spooling sometimes

Fair enough if you use old used oil that it will affect how the turbo spool but lack of it would damage the turbo. Also next time you change the oil, use an engine old flush before you do, it'll help clear the gunk out as well.

I have the same problem, the turbo boost from 4000rpm 2nd gear, I drive with 10w40 ??, should i change to 15w or 20w ??, what oil characteristics are best for the turbo?? 10x

The type of oil to use depends on what your manufacturer recommends as different environments need different viscosity of oils. But i would check the wastegate or the lines to the wastegate in your case.
