Zoom Tuning review

Post by Chris 83JA »

Dropped the silver beast at Zoom tuning on Tuesday night for a new clutch and slave cylinder rebuild. This was a free service, organised as part of the payment for the sale of my old yellow stazza.

Turned up on Wednesday night to pick it up, and found that not only had Flav completed the above tasks, but also rebuilt the master cylinder, cleaned the entire car (at the local recycled-water carwash, of course) and fixed up a few other little problems. The car seems to drive and idle nicer too.
I also didn't specify what clutch I wanted, but Flav put a nice (pink!) exedy unit in - feels great!

All this at no extra charge!

Thanks for the top work Flav, I'll have to shout you some Pizza's next time :beer

everytime I pick up my car for him its always smiles all round! I like the way little things get fixed that you didn't ask for but that kind of service makes you want to keep going back.

:beer thanks flav.

now when can I drop my car off? :P
My JA has perfect motor - FMIC - forgies - high flow head but...rusted front guards and keyed on every panel. Time to get serious or time to take it to the tip.

That's the whole philosophy behind Zoom Tuning. We keep the customers happy by doing a few little things extra (that aren't all that big a deal), and they keep coming back. :D

Always a pleasure to work on your cars!
We have had some immmmese days and nights of work lately. 4hrs sleep in 3 days makes me feel crap. We will look at the expansion when things calm down (yeah right..) a little and look at whats needed in other states.

Ray!! Help!!

Flav is the Jedi Lord of the Starion Saga...

There is no problem to big or too small for him.

He always looks after me and Rola and our yellow Starions, he has dome some good work for me from my air intake, to blow off valve to, engine rebuild to port and polish... And when i get it back, EVERYTHING is fixed... even if i didnt tell him about it. And it is ALWAYS a job done well and professional.

All this with unbeatable prices! :D

Good work Flav :beer

I'm always on hand to help Flav. Still flat out organizing the premises of Zoom Tuning QLD. Finding a final place within the next few months, and then you can come up for the grand opening... We will already have a few Starions in the shop...I have already lined 3 up, and a few skylines, and other go fast cars :D

Considering I am working on them already....

I'm getting there Dave...

Might even be moving into where Coral Motors used to be. Either that or on Traders Lane in McCormack St.

You will be the first to know (apart from Flav) where it will be, and I will be organizing a towie to get your car to a real workshop so we can get it up and running finally

Make sure you get your car and all associated parts out (even the ones that have gone missing). Truck it out here, and I'll have it on the road in no time

You should move down to the coast instead of FNQ. What is there like 3 or so starions up there, where as we have like 30 odd down here :p Man you would make a killing down here.

Woody, it is true that there are only a handful of Starions here in Cairns, but Townsville has heaps, and Zoom Tuning doesn't only deal with Starions. You already have Garage Redzone there remember...

Yes I know. I was just teasing :p

Would be nice to get flav to look at my beast, but its way too far to drive.
