locks
all you need is a central locking kit from any cheap car shop, i got mine from Super Cheap Auto, cost me $30 and an hour or two to fit it.. its only 2 wires to connect it to an alarm. Makes life alot easier
and its no harder to do than any other car, in a starion the rod for the lock runs horizontal unlike other cars it runs vertical, either way you still have to drill 2 holes for each actuator and connect it to the rod for the lock... pretty simple..

Re: locks
because the rod runs horizontally its not as easy to find a place to mount the bracket - on doors with a vertical rod you are spoilt for choice of places to stick the actuator but with the starion you have to be careful that the plunger is running perfectly perpendicular to the rod, otherwise you will be replacing the actuator quickly.StarionBoy wrote: and its no harder to do than any other car...
I don't know what the super cheap auto actuators are like, mine looked like this:
I guess it would be easy if i had small carnie hands but you know what they say about people with large hands (it makes it difficult to install aftermarket central locking. and big gloves.)

yeah they are the same as the super cheap auto ones.. although i didnt use the piece pictured at the bottom in that pic.. just drilled holes in the inside piece of the door and screwed it straight through there into the actuator..
atleast with a starion you usually have 2 actuators left (due to 2 door kits not being much (if any) cheaper than a 4 door kit) so if you do stuff one up u have another 2 lol..
