I dont think he gives a stuff about the front bumper, if he wants very good intercooler air flow, well he has done whats gotta be done.

Its only a front bumper bar.
Firstly, I'll agree with Deeks! The bar is beyond sacred, they just don't exist!

Secondly, and more to your point, he has in fact gained no more, maybe even less air into the intercooler my his mod. Air will take the easiest path of resistance. That path is into the front of the intercooler, but instead of going through it, it will instead go straight down the front and under the car! Basic physics. The way in which you would counter act this is to have a bar beneath the cooler that will force the air into it rather then trying to jump the bar!

So, to sum up... not only has made NO improvements to his performance, but he has massacred a relic! :x :x :x

Just for my understanding about this front bar, what is it, what makes it so rare, what is it about it that its diffrent from the rest, can he fit other front bumper bars other than a 'JB" style one, I have absolutly no idea or know anything about starions, nothing, the only thing i know about starions is that their >

Rwd
2.0 litre single cam

So yeah, if its not to hard, a brief description of this super rare bumper would be good, i wanna learn more. Is this front bumper bar equivalent to a Factory multipoint 250kw rated dash turbo engine from factory, which was only found in a few rally starions.

having no idea about starions on a starion forum in a starion thread is a good reason not to comment in the first place

The "Rest" as you so ellegantly put it is exactly my point! Lets assume for arguments sake that there were originally 2000 Starions. Lets say about 400 were JB's and 58 were JD's. 23 years on and the amount of starions still getting around is about 500ish! How many of these do you think are JBs? How many front bars were damaged? Removed? Lost? Burnt? Crushed? Butchered?

@ Flawless Victory: How can you have 58 posts on a dedicated Starion forum and not know a SINGLE thing about Starions? Maybe a timely exit is forthcoming? :x

Every forum, like every village, has its very own idiot. We have ours - who are we to deprive another forum of its idiot?

I apologize for responding some months after the last post - having only just read this post now, I larfed at the sillyness. My thoughts:

It seems to be that someone else has immigrated from that same revolving paddock of morons...
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?
