I think your putting the staz into the wrong category. There is old school cars like the rx3 or celica mustang style that people want that is small muscle, starion does not fit in there. its somewhere between those and the fc rx7, like a 1st gen rx7 only the 1st gen has a rotary attraction. I guess what im trying to say is the starion is an aquired taste. Also depends on hom much pussy it will pull, i think the paint job needs to be riced up if u wanna sell for that much. Good luck with the sale, A friend recently bought a 400 rwhp first gen for 6.5 k. :beer

its actually sold pending me finishing it off. i'm getting what i wanted for it (well within a fly shit) his loan and insurance have been approved so he's waiting on me! just gotta fit the koni's and a couple of rwc items and the lsd.

so to those that said it couldnt be done, :pimp

i have a few mates on the sunshine coast who own silvia's etc that think i sold it too cheap. for what it has done to it, and how its presented, they're pissed they paid 12 grand for S13's when they could have had this...

dont be so negative about what u can get for a starion. their profile is increasing, i have noticed a lot of older guys buying them in the last year for motorsport use, i can think of 4 off the top of my head! they are a desirable older rwd car that has a lot of potential. remember RX3's were once worth 2 grand tops. now u pay 2 grand for a nose cone and 20 for a mint coupe!

i knew i probably wouldnt have sold it on here anyway, i've noticed people on here dont tend to like paying much for cars!

yup.. people don't want to spend more than $4k on a nice starion but end up spending $25 to $40k or more to get to how they want it... Paying good money $10 to $20k for a car that is aready done is a far cheaper option... and you don't have the 4 and 5 year build up etc...

Buying it done is a good and cheaper option in the long run...

valid point woody, individuality is one of the main things that makes us want to build cars. but it is a lot easier and cheaper to buy something already done, and personalise that via changing wheels, interior etc...

basically make it "yours"
