As a rule, A car with a AFM needs a "plumb back" bov. Some computers can cope with an atmo bov, Most can't :beer

I had a bosch one plumbed back in and the car ran fine, unplumbed it and it wouldn't idle. Either plumb it back in or get something else. Plenty of cheap ones on ebay.

The spring on the low-cost bosch BOVs is designed such that it is opened at part vacuum, so it needs to be plumbed back or it will cause problems. That's how they're designed to work. Other BOVs have stronger springs and it takes boost plus vacuum to open them. These will work better in a vent-to-atmosphere configuration, although it would go rich when the BOV opens.

I'm running a stealth FX Adjustable blumb back BOV at approx 1/3 vent and 2/3 plumb-back to accordian hose, runs fine.
