Yes, but we won't recognise that it's your car... LOL

I can't wait for my calender... :D

I'm happy for my pic to be in the collage... (not a feature... unless we are getting desperate for pics)

For one of the months we should include the cruise pic with the 21 stazz that attended the qld starion cruise.
Starions are a disease, the only cure is poverty.

I'd be interested - I've got some nice shots of the blingmobile.

I can also do some layouts for the calender as well - no sense sticking to a boring template

Me will buy 2 maybe 3.

Pics of track car and of Marie's before it was sold (if new owner is OK with that.)
Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

Put me down for one!

However, I'd like to throw my 2 bob in and suggest that shot of the yellow Conquest next to the Fighter jet....
... if possible.

I'll reserve my decision until it's clear what cars will be in it, how it is set up, and what it will really look like.... :?

Forsure. Also it would be nice to include a photo from everyone that's buying a calendar - I was thinking the front page could be a collage?

My idea was a boring template unfortunately - here's the example from the website:

Image

The price quoted was for an A3 calendar like the above - basically we just provide the pictures and the holidays to be printed and they do the rest. If we were to go with a custom template (which would be awesome, but time consuming) I figure we would have to get each page printed individually and get it bound ourselves? Maybe something for the 2008 calendar :?

I'm happy with that layout...

As for the holidays I don't think it is super important.
Try for just the big national holidays and if they are split break them up with (NZ) or (AUS) after the holiday description.

Maybe use the states (NSW), (VIC), (QLD), (SA), (WA), (NT), (TAS), (ACT)...

Do you have the details for all the holidays for 2007 or does the printing company have that?

Perhaps it's worth asking if we can supply our own press ready files?

They don't look too bad though.

Just got in touch with the dude, they're not based in the same town as me and he wasn't keen on doing a custom job because he says it's more difficult when the customer can't come in and discuss the job.. arse. Also he said it would be more expensive to print from our own files. So unless anyone else is willing to go talk to a printer, are we still keen on the above style?

People with suitable pics so far:

Me
Kit
Decoy
Hoongirl
WANTSOM
Woody

Also there are some great pics of cookie's car at http://forums.austarion.com/viewtopic.php?t=5730, but the resolution isn't high enough. I'll get in touch with speedshots to see how much he wants for a higher res version - it mightn't be worth it if he wants heaps :?

I don't really care whos cars make it...

(LxS has some good arty shots at night infront of a fountain)

As an alternative Calendar printer...
http://www.kainosprint.com.au/CalendarsIntro.shtml

A$16.91ea for a run of 50 A3 Calendars... + postage & handling...
I think they are stapled in the middle with a hole punched in the top to hange it...
I prefer the style you have found but this guy is a back up...
