Replacement Front and Rear Shocks / Struts AVAILABLE from US
Hello ALL
I have been asked several times for prices on repalcement shocks and struts for the Starion so finally got off my ass and posted prices. Mate REMEMBER these shocks I buy from a Hi-Volume Race shop that oders directly from the manufacturer so you are getting the freshest shocks available. So you will never get Old new stock or someone else's left overs. E-bay is one of those places were NOT to get shocks from unless you know were they are coming from!
Here's whats Available:
KYB GR2 Gas Shocks
Front USD$69.00/AUD$95.00 each
Rear USD$99.00/AUD$135.00 each
Tokico
Tokico's are about USD$20.00/AUD$27,00 MORE each shock/strut than the KYB's above.
Adjustable FRONT ONLY
KYB/AGX Gas 5 way Adjustables USD$135.00 /AUD$184.00 each
Tokico Illumina 6 way Adjustables USD$145.00 AUD$199.00 each
Koni Adjustables USD$210.00 /AUD$285.00 each
Adjustable Shocks are also available BUT they WILL require a SPACER to be made to make up for the difference in length between the ORIGINAL Shock and the new adjustable. A spacer can be made of Steel or Aluminum and it is dropped inside the shock housing BEFORE you drop in the insert cartrige. This will have to be done BY YOU after you get the shocks.
Shipping for ALL 4 will be as follows:
Surface Post (6-8 weeks) USD$75.00/AUD$101.00
Econo-Airt (8-15 days) USD$140.00/AUD$189.00
** Currency exchange varies from day to day so use the figures here as ESTIMATES ONLY
*** Pay-pal has their currency exchange set up abput 3-4% MORE than whats found at the link in my signature.
Cheers
Oscar

Mate the Widey's Front Lower control Arms, Radius Rods and Tie Rod Ends ARE different that the Flatty's They are LONGER. So if you use the Flatty arms and rods on a widey you will end up with LOTS of Toe In and LOTS of Neg Camber that CANNOT be corrected.Rallyant wrote:are they different?Starion VR4 wrote:Hey OSCAR, happy holidays!!! hmmm nice. i wanderd if they might b longer.
This is for a setup id like to put on the Galant. so i have nothing to go of. a sigma front end was going in but if i can increase the track a little more with a wide bods arms i want a set too! :)
what about the rear end? is that the same? just use diferent offsett wheels?

Shorter lower arms would bring the wheels in, And if the same(longer?) tie rods/ steering components were used it would steer both front wheels in.jeff wrote:how do flatty arms increase toe in i wonder?
I assume the strut bar is longer too?
Id say if you swaped in the flatty components if sould be fine. not sure why you would want to tho?
