Widebody dyno sheet Magna MPI finally fitted.

Dyno sheet with Magna MPI finally fitted. Engine is tired so I would expect better numbers after a rebuild.
Runs at 8psi and 16psi.

Yes Ralliart turbo and manifold but head is still early style (not Magna) but is ported.MrBishi wrote:Was this done with the Ralliart pajero turbo & manifold?
Magna head?
What is the next upgrade?
Next upgrades are fresh engine, fuel pump and re-route cooler pipework to better suit Magna setup.
It would seem it may be possible to get 300HP at the wheels not sure, the turbo would certainly flow that I'm just not sure if the stock cooler will flow that much and I don't really want to modify the car any more from original.
Notice my "re-heat" cooler pipe going along the top of the radiator :D
I was going to tape it up with that silver reflective insulation tape but I could not get any before the dyno run.
Anyhow a good example of where not to run a cooler pipe. But until I re-route the pipe work which will require aluminium welding a new outlet pipe on the stock cooler it will have to stay that way.
Anyhow all this will take a while because I have to get the JA back on the road first.
Also Woody notice the Grumbly strut bar which by the way does NOT fit with the stock TBI.
The strut bar made a real improvement to the handling a good mod.

Well you should know what to do, but how original did you want the car to stay ?
You can switch to the 14row FMIC, and fit 2.5" Inlet & Outlets to try and retain its orginality whilst decreasing restrictions.....

Computer games don't affect kids I mean if PacMan affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music :D

Yes for sure it responds well to boost which is a sure sign it's all flowing well. I'd be more than happy with 300whp, maybe one day.TOMSUN wrote:I looks like it loves to be boosted. Picked up 80hp at the wheels with extra 8psi.. :D
Let's see another 8psi (24psi) should make about 320hp at the wheels. :D
well done mate great stuff :D :beer

Yes it really hauls now, even at 4 in the morning4g6beat wrote:Nice work Mark, hopefully this setup wont have an injector sticking open at 4 in the moring hehehehe ;). Fantastic car, can imagine how much more fun it is now :D
I enjoy driving it as much as the JA now, the Magna MPI has made it so much more drivable. Also the front strut brace has made a big difference to the handling.
