FS: Starion Head Rebuilt, Ported and Polished $250 -Brisbane

Post by boosterboy »

I have a Starion head that I rebuilt and had ported and polished. It is still wrapped in plastic (gladwrap) from when it was rebuilt. Also comes with a Turbo VRS kit minus valve stem seals etc that were used in the rebuild. I will post pictures of it this afternoon.

I am looking for $250 for the head including gasket set. Postage or courier can be arranged at extra cost.

Cheers

Is it a jet valve or non-jet valve head? Is it ready to bolt on (as in it's been checked for flattness, valves seated etc)? if it's ready to bolt on then i'll be first dibs..

The head was totally rebuilt, 3 angle valve grind, pressure tested and surface checked. The head was originally a Jet valve head but has been converted to non jet valve on request.

Anybody interested in pics pm me with an email address and i'll send them.

Sorry about the delays but with work i'm really busy.

Cheers

Blanking valves or weld up the holes.

What type or 'stage' port has been done to it?

I had all the work done by Northside Cylinder Heads in Geebung Brisbane. I have had a few heads done through them and get mates rates  . As I have no Starions anymore I have no need for the head and the reduced price.

The head was pressure tested, acid dipped and cleaned. Intake and Exhaust valves faced, Serdi 3 angle on intake and exhaust seats. Mild port to clean up inlet ports, exhaust ports around valve guides seriously ported. 4 exhaust valve guides were replaced. Jet valves welded and non jet valve rocker gear swapped over. ACL gasket kit included.

Yeah thanks but not really negotiable, $250. Also prefer an Australian buyer easier to deal with postage etc.
