just out of interest, who here has a cams licence and what grade is it????

PC = Provisional Circuit, and is the one I hope to have by the end of the year. :D

hey, whats ls2 mean? (aside from level 2 speed)

when is a cams license actually required?
how hard is it to obtain, whats required?
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

Car club events ie lap dashes, supersprints, motorkhanas etc come under CAMS regs so you need a L2S licence to compete. It does not allow you to "race" as such - speed ie time trial style events only

To get one you join a car club, apply to CAMS on an application form, answer some questions and pay the fee. No testing as such required.
